چکیده
Soils contaminated with potentially toxic elements (PTEs) and salt manifest a large number of physical, chemical, structural problems by various processes such as reduced water availability, air movement in soil space, holding capacity soil, well perilous effects on plant growth physiology. Halophytes have the ability to grow saline environments are better adapted accommodate environmental constraints including PTE ions. An experiment was designed study response halophyte Atriplex halimus range salinities different concentrations Cd Ni. Tolerance remedial potential were quantified terms uptake portioning, biomass, root/shoot ratio, chlorophyll anti-oxidative enzyme production, along stress markers lipid peroxidation, proline, glycine betaine. The also evaluated for its phytoremediate soil. results suggest that A. can tolerate moderate both PTEs salt. species holds promise bio-reclamation PTE-contaminated

In this study, the ability of three rangeland species Atriplex halimus, A. canescens and A. lentiformis to remove nitrate from soil in vitro (greenhouse) in a completely randomized design was investigated. For this purpose, potassium nitrate salt (KNO3) was used in four treatments control, 6.3 ppm, 9.5 ppm and 14.5 ppm in three repetitions. Plant species used in this study with an approximate...

abstract while task-based instruction is considered as the most effective way to learn a language in the related literature, it is oversimplified on various grounds. different variables may affect how students are engaged with not only the language but also with the task itself. the present study was conducted to investigate language and task related engagement on the basis of the task typolog...

Tolerance of plants to elevated concentrations of heavy metals in growth media and in its tissues leads to high degrees of metal bioaccumulation, which may pose a risk for humans and animals alike. Therefore, bio-accumulating plants need thorough evaluation from an environmental health point of view. A glasshouse experiment concerning the xerohalophyte Atriplex halimus was carried out to determ...
متن کاملPhysiological responses and phytoremediation ability of Eastern Coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) for crude oil contaminated soil
One of the most important anthropogenic pollution types in countries with oil production is soil and water contamination by petroleum. Phytoremediation is an emerging green technology for cleaning up polluted soil. A greenhouse experiment was conducted to study the effect of oil-contaminated soil on Echinacea purpurea with four concentrations of crude oil - contaminated soil: control = 0, 0.5% ...
